The People Pedaling the Way-Chris Hancock

My love of two wheels started at a young age when I got my first dirt bike and began racing motocross. I started mountain biking as a teenager as training for motocross and that progressed to racing cross country, downhill, road and track cycling I was always on a bike.

Working in the bike industry has given me some amazing experiences over the years from working in small bike shops on Vancouver Island to making two free ride movies in the early 2000’s and more recently working as a mechanic for the Canadian national downhill team as a mechanic at selected World Cup races and several world championships. I also currently coach mountain biking for Gravity MTB in Cumberland. And have the privilege of working with some of the most talented young racers in Canada. Working in Europe at races allowed me to make many contacts in the industry and I made the decision to do something that makes a bigger impact.

Let’s enjoy the ride while saving our wallets and this fragile planet.
